Asia
Vom seelenvoll
Asia is a stunning, vibrantly colored female with a feminine yet imposing face. This girl is an amazing house dog and sidekick. She is one of our smartest females and exudes calmness and authority. She is a known bed hog with a goofy side that reminds us of the fact that she is a full sibling to Vermeer! She is a true German Shepherd Dog who prefers order over chaos and is a great teacher of manners for the younger generation.Overall she is a very calm dog with a big heart.
Asia is around 68 - 70 lbs, taller in structure with a more athletic build. She carrier the gene for longcoats, and has produced some amazing puppies for us! Her Daughters include Alfira, Hera and Gwenchana.
Asia is part of Katie's Shepherd Pack.
PEDIGREE
We loved the pairing of Anacapri and VA Fight vom Holtkamper Hof so much that we repeated the breeding! This pairing has a spectacular pedigree. She is the daughter of VA Fight vom Holtkämper Hof, granddaughter of VA1 Omen v. Radhaus, VA1 Yoker v. Leithawald, 2x VA1 Remo v. Fichtenschlag, 2x VA1 Vegas du Haut Mansard, 3x VA Peik vom Holtkämper Hof, and 2x VA Arex v. d. Wilhelmswarte.
HEALTH
Asia has some stellar health clearances that have proven to pass onto her puppies. Her PennHip scores are RDI: 0.30 and LDI: 0.23, which puts her in the top percentile of tested dogs in the breed. With the average being 0.42, that is pretty amazing! All of her tested offspring so far have been above the average.
Her elbows were also xrayed and graded as "Normal" by OFA, which is the best result.
While she is clear by parentage for DM (Degenerative Myelopathy), she is also tested as Clear for DM and 255 other genetic diseases through her Embark Panel. This includes Hemophilia (Blood Disorder) and MDR1 (Multi-Drug Resistance). This means that even if bred with a dog who is Affected/At Risk for any of these diseases and disorders she cannot produce them in her puppies.
Asia's heart has been cleared by a canine cardiologist and her clearance can be found in the OFA database. Her eyes were also evaluated by a canine Ophthalmologist and found to be clear as well through OFA(Orthopedic Foundation for Animals).
