Acadia
vom Seelenvoll

Acadia is a sweet female with stunning looks and a fairytale personality. She knows how to use those big, innocent eyes of hers to get her way, and is a total snuggle bug at any time of the day. She loves running through the forest, is tolerant of car rides if it means spending time with us, and is very good about knowing when she would rather sleep than socialize. This girl is usually noticed first for her dark and striking looks, and keeps admirers with that wonderful attitude and heart of love.

Acadia is a part of Jennifer's Shepherd Pack.

PEDIGREE

She is the daughter of our Vermeer vom Seelenvoll and SG Perris vom Wasserand, becoming an amazing third-generation female in our breeding program. By combining Vermeer and Perris, we are combining some amazing royal bloodlines, both old and new! It is especially wonderful to see not only World Champion males in the bloodline, but also the World Champion VA1 Wikky von Farhantal. Everyone wanted to introduce Wikky into their lines because everything she produced was considered gold, and always did amazing in the show ring.

HEALTH

Acadia is a third generation girl from our breeding program, and her health clearances reflect this.

Her PennHip scores are RDI: 0.38 and LDI: 0.42, which puts her right above the average of the breed, with no signs of hip dysplasia found and beautiful structure for a shepherd (known to usually have flatter acetabular) to her xray.

Her elbows were also xrayed and graded as "Normal" by OFA, which is the best result.

While she is clear by parentage for DM (Degenerative Myelopathy), she is also tested as Clear for DM through Gensol Genetic Testing. This means that even if bred with a dog who is Affected/At Risk for DM she cannot produce it in her puppies.

Acadia's heart has been cleared by a canine cardiologist and her clearance can be found in the OFA database. Her eyes were also evaluated by a canine Ophthalmologist and found to be clear as well through OFA(Orthopedic Foundation for Animals).
