Medea
Vom seelenvoll

Medea was a strong, fierce puppy - the only female from her litter with six brothers! As she grew, so did her sweet personality! This girl is very confident and happy to go on new adventures. She has a natural affinity for knowing when to be gentle around younger or older people or critters. Medea is a go-to girl for adventures - be it camping trips or just a ride in the car into town.
Medea also loves puppies. Since she was young she was the designated Nanny dog, always being gentle with younger puppies. I would catch her jumping in with the little ones whenever she had the chance, and she even tried to produce milk for them before she had ever been a mother herself. There are countless videos of her playing with little puppies on the internet.
She has a gentle, quiet nature. During her first litter she had a stuck puppy who needed to be removed through csection, and while she was waiting at the clinic she had many visitors who came to see her and her puppies. She was so happy to show them off, and was very calm and trusting of others being around them. She has an amazing soul, and I am so happy to say that she is a wonderful ambassador for the breed.
PEDIGREE
Medea has a rockstar pedigree, combining some old personal favorites such as V Promo v. Osterberger-Land and V Tesla v.d. Mauritshoek. There are also some amazing dogs in her pedigree that include VA Cyrus vom Osterberger-Land, VA Groovy di Casa Massarelli , VA ASAP v. Aldamar , VA Fight v. Holtkamper Hof, VA Goran vom Bierstadter Hof, VA Remo vom Fichtenschlag and many more!
HEALTH
Medea has some amazing health clearances. Everything that she is tested against she passes easily.
Her PennHip scores are RDI: 0.36 and LDI: 0.32, which puts her in the top percentile of tested dogs in the breed. With the average being 0.42, that is pretty amazing!
Her elbows were also xrayed and graded as "Normal" by OFA, which is the best result.
Medea has tested as Clear for DM (Degenerative Myelopathy) and 255 other genetic diseases through her Embark Panel. This includes Hemophilia (Blood Disorder) and MDR1 (Multi-Drug Resistance). This means that even if bred with a dog who is Affected/At Risk for any of these diseases and disorders she cannot produce them in her puppies.
Medea's heart has been cleared by a canine cardiologist and her clearance can be found in the OFA database. Her eyes were also evaluated by a canine Ophthalmologist and found to be clear as well through OFA(Orthopedic Foundation for Animals).
